MT5 Installation Guide

  1. Download the Omini Max Grid Trading Bot.ex5.
  2. In MT5, select File > Open Data Folder.
  3. Navigate to MQL5 > Experts.
  4. Paste the file and Refresh your Navigator panel.
  5. Attach to a chart and ensure “Allow Algo Trading” is checked.

Grid Spacing & The Recovery Mechanism

No trading strategy wins 100% of its initial entries. That is where Omini Max’s intelligent grid and recovery system comes in:

  • Grid Spacing: If a counter-trend entry is triggered but the market continues to trend heavily, the EA will not panic. It will wait for the price to travel the defined GridSpace_inPips before opening a secondary position at a better average price.
  • Recovery Stage: As the grid expands, the EA tracks the total number of trades. Once it reaches a designated threshold (e.g., Trade 7), the EA automatically shifts from “Normal” stage into its Recovery Mechanism. In this mode, the bot focuses heavily on finding the nearest point to exit the entire basket of trades with minimum net losses, attempting to neutralize the drawdown.
